FAQ

The following is a list of questions that customers often ask Happy Valley Entertainment. When choosing a DJ service for a wedding reception, couples should not be afraid to ask questions about their potential DJ.

  1. Why do DJ services vary in price for wedding receptions?
    • Pricing for each DJ company varies depending on the services offered by that particular company. Our pricing is based on all of the services we offer. Besides providing music at receptions, our company has a lot of extra time and money that goes into preparing for a wedding reception. When doing a full set up with lights, it takes 30 minutes to load our truck, an hour to set up the equipment, an hour to tear down the equipment, plus travel time to and from the reception. Our equipment is hauled in a full-size Chevy Tahoe and is not jammed into a small vehicle. During set-up, we hide extension cords, speaker cords, and light cords to create a clean look. We own all of our equipment and use only high-end equipment. Our equipment is also replaced frequently insuring nothing malfunctions at a wedding reception. The equipment taken to wedding receptions is free of scratches, dents, and any other major blemishes. Our DJ service is one that pays attention to the smallest details.
  2. Do you match other DJ's pricing or negotiate price?
    • We do not match other DJ’s pricing nor do we negotiate price. Discounts are given to non-profit and charity organizations.
  3. Will you travel outside of Centre County for a wedding reception?
    • We will travel outside of Centre County for wedding receptions. A trip fee will be added to the contract for travel. The trip fee is based on how far we have to travel. Trip fees begin at $75.
  4. Are you insured?
